Alpha Omega Shows Strength

The BCS Eagles travelled to Huntsville Friday night to take on the #4 Alpha Omega Lions.  The Lions got off to a fast start jumping out to a 24-0 lead. The Eagles stormed back within 12 just before the half when the Lions running game put up another rushing touchdown just before halftime. The young Eagles just couldn't keep up with Alpha Omega's 10 seniors in the second half falling behind by 45 points in the third quarter.

"That's a championship contender" said Athletic Director Robby Crihfield "10 of their 13 kids are seniors. That kind of senior leadership shows up in a big way on Friday nights"

"We are young" said Head Coach Danny Martin "One of our goals as a program is to bring a State Title to BCS and we are confident that this group can do it. This will be a game that we look back on in a few years as a turning point in the program"

The Eagles (4-2) will open district play next Friday at home vs. Alvin Living Stones at 7:00 pm. It will also be BCS Homecoming so make sure to show up early to catch the Jr High game at 5:00 pm and get a good seat for the show.
